[STYLE=font-family: arial black; font-size: 30px; text-align: center;letter-spacing: -3px;]Cassidy Muireann Rose Clawford[/style] [STYLE=margin-top: -5px; font-size: 10px; border-top: 1px dotted; font-family: georgia; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: center;]Seventeen • Single • Hufflepuff Access Ministry FileCassidy is hard-working and studious, so she can often be found in the library or seen with a book in her hand. That said, she is sociable, approachable and caring - her friends mean the very world to her. Unfortunately, Cass is easily intimidated and lacks self-confidence, which means she doesn't always have the courage to speak out or stand up for herself and she can be influenced by strong personalities. Cassidy is a pureblood but it is not something she takes pride in or cares about. She is very concious of her family background and the incorrect assumptions that might be made about her as a result (namely that she comes from a long line of lazy, affluent witches and wizards who, above all else, prize their blood status). Romantically speaking, Cassidy has only had one boyfriend. It was an abusive relationship which lasted throughout the summer of 1995 and, although Cassidy's physical injuries healed relatively quickly, psychologically she still bears scars. This relationship is a secret Cass hasn't confided to anyone, as yet. TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM[/style]

Cassidy ++ GraemeFIRST POST! well these two have to be friends, especially cause cassidy is shy. graeme would forever be trying to pull this girl out of her shell, and it wouldn't sit well with him that she doesn't stand up for herself. c'mon! where's that fighting Irish spirit? i also see these two having been friends for awhile, perhaps even before hogwarts? they both do hail from the green isle after all. maybe they were a little crew, graeme, cassidy, and eoghan, graeme's fraternal twin. caitria would now, since first year, likely also be one of the gang. i could see this lot being thick as thieves with a relationship that rivals the friendship of the golden trio. what say you?

This is perfect, Cassidy is very friends-orientated so I can see her being a part of a close-knit group. I also like that Graeme is trying to draw the feisty spirit that must be lying dormant somewhere deep inside. And of course, everyone knows everyone in Ireland (actually this isn't far from truth) so it makes sense the twins and Cassidy would have known each other before Hogwarts - I can see them exploring the local town, eating fish and chips at the harbour and talking about the day they'd be off to Hogwarts. Caitria is Irish and a Hufflepuff so of course she'd be part of the gang (so long as Gwen is happy enough). One thing - seeing as they knew each other before Hogwarts, I'm guessing that Graeme and Eoghan would know Cassidy's parents and would have been to her house? I'm happy for that to be the case, especially seeing as they've been friends so long, but I just wanted to clarify as Cassidy is quite guarded about her family background.

++Cassidyoh yes! i would imagine they spent loads of time at each other's homes. we'll have to talk it over with gwen, but perhaps cassidy also is helping the morrissey family hide caitria's true blood status? you know, just another person to vouche for the muggleborn witch.

++ Caitria & Cassidy LOVE the idea of an Irish Hufflepuff gang!! I think this would also make it easier for Cait and Cass to get along, since Cait keeps herself in check around her friends (sometimes ) OH! Would that mean Cass is also in on Caitria's biggest secret? That she came back to Hogwarts even though she's muggleborn?

++ Cassidy & Caitria
Definitely, I'm sure Cass wouldn't mind so much being teased by friends - who knows it might even help thicken her skin a bit! I'm happy for Cass to be in on Caitria's secret, Cass would keep her silence and do all she could to protect a friend.
What I'm try to figure out is how widely known it would be amongst the general school population that Cass is a pureblood. It's not something she talks about but the British pureblood families all know each other and now there's the increased focus on blood purity due to the new regime... Ho hum. What are your thoughts?
Either way, it can be only a good thing to have a pureblood witch vouching for Caitria and Cass would use her pureblood status to help protect a friend - even if it means (shock horror!) talking about something she cares little for / dislikes drawing attention to.
(Edit: I'm guessing I really ought to be putting the names of the characters I'm talking about at the top of my post? Haha, it probably shows how long it's been since I was last role-playing!)

Cait&Cass: Awesome!! Hmm, I think if Cass herself doesn't say anything about her blood, than hardly anyone would know. It's just with the muggleborns that it gets so widely broadcasted, and we saw in the second book that before that people often didn't know who was muggleborn until they were attacked by the Basilisk. I think especially in Hufflepuff it wouldn't matter much, so I think it's up to Cass! Of course the other pureblood families might know the name Clawford, so... they mught have it in the back of their heads xD Okay, how could we put this possibly into a thread? We could make a threesome, of all the Irish Huffs maybe, when they just chat about what the school has come to... or we could have a twosome thread between Cait and Cass where the talk about... anything Boys maybe. ^^

(Oops, I had a herp derp moment there! Please feel free to delete my guest post) ++ Cassidy & CaitriaPerfect, we'll proceed on the assumption that Cass's blood status isn't generally known. Though obviously her close Huff friends would know. I could crash Cassidy into the 'Smuggled Words' topic but maybe you want to keep that to develop the relationship between Graeme and Caitria? Alternatively we could have them spending time out in the grounds or studying in one of the classrooms (you know Cass would just love to help others with History of Magic homework) - and it can be just the girls, or Graeme and Eoghan could join in. Whatever you fancy. Boy talk might be interesting though. ++ Cassidy & Graeme & EoghanAre you guys happy enough for Cassidy's friendship with these two to have been one of the sources of tension in her brief relationship with the jealous Aengus? It might never come to anything, seeing as Aengus doesn't study at Hogwarts (in hindsight it might have been interesting to have made him a fellow student) but would the pair have known him?
